A woman in a local senior facility has a son who is a cancer survivor.  She tries very hard to see him as much as she can.  Neither she nor he has the resources for her to visit.  She saves every penny she has and pays $260 to take a cab from Point Pleasant Borough to Keansburg, NJ to visit with him.  This is double the amount of the monthly allowance she receives from Medicare.  I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to help her see her son on a more regular basis.  Maybe we could have a group of volunteers share the burden and get her to her son once a month.  Keansburg is 27 miles from Point Beach.  If you are interested and willing to talk about this need, please fill out and submit this contact form, give me a call at 732-892-0049, or email me at [email protected].
