Truth be told, last year St. Gregory’s Food Pantry was almost overwhelmed with our Thanksgiving Food Drive and your generosity. They had just received a huge donation from the Boy Scouts, and they were bursting at the seams. This year they have rearranged their donation schedule and are counting on 300 bags of food from us to share with the poor in the area. Just go to the store and pick up the things on the list stapled to the bag and bring the bags back next Sunday. Once again, the Stop and Shop in Point Pleasant Beach donated the bags and assured me that they will have all of the ingredients for our Thanksgiving bags in stock. We ask you for a gift card to help cover the cost of the turkey and fresh vegetables. As always, thank you for your generosity. Each bag will provide a family of 4 with Thanksgiving dinner. 1,200 thanksgiving meals – that’s a lot of love for sure.
